Immunogen Information
Immunogen:
A synthetic methylated peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Arg3 of human histone H4
Gene ID: 8370
Swiss Prot: P62805
Synonyms: H3t; H3.4; H3/g; H3FT
Background:
Histone H4R3 monomethylation is catalyzed by PRMT1, its dimethylation is catalyzed by PRMT5, both symmetrically and asymmetrically (1, 2, 3). Histone H4R3 methylation/demethylation involves in a variety of biological events, such as gene transcription regulation, cellular response, embryonic development and cancer development (4, 5, 6). For different H4R3 methylation status, we have H4R3me1, asymmetric H4R3me2a, and symmetric H4R3me2s antibody available.
