Iron Oxide Nanoparticles with Cy5 & Streptavidin
Ocean NanoTech’s ICS are cyanine 5-labeled magnetic nanoparticle with streptavidin functional groups. These water-soluble nanocrystals with polyethylene glycol (PEG) coating exhibit great long-time stability and minimize nonspecific uptakes. The magnetic fluorescent nanoparticles are highly uniform and specificity, with multiple streptavidin and dye molecules on the surface of iron oxide nanoparticles. The streptavidin and dye molecules are both covalently linked to the PEG polymer. Additionally, these nanoparticles can effectively capture biotinylated molecules such as protein, DNA and peptide, providing important applications in the field of protein labeling, drug delivery and live cell fluorescent imaging.
