Description
DNA Mini Prep GenCatch TM Blood &Tissue Genomic Mini-Prep Kit provides a simple, fast and cost-effective method to purify genomic DNA from various samples such as bacteria, yeast, blood, cultured cells, tissue, plasma, serum, buffy coat, lymphocytes, paraffin-embedded tissue and forensic specimens, without phenol/chloroform extraction and ethanol precipitation. Isolated genomic DNA is free of contaminations and are good substrates for southern blotting, enzymatic and PCR reactions.

Features
Sample Size: Up to 5 ml of bacterial or yeast culture, 200 |ìl of whole blood and 30 mg of animal tissue or culture cells can be processed in a single column.
Yield: Up to 80 |ìg genomic DNA from bacterial and yeast culture, 120 |ìg from mammalian tissue culture and 10 |ìg from whole blood sample can be obtained.
Quality: Genomic DNA purified is suitable for many downstream molecular manipulations including, genotyping, PCR, enzymatic reactions, southern blotting, etc.
