Normal human serum characterized for the hemolytic function of individual complement proteins Quidel Normal Human Serum Complement Standard is intended for use in antigen assays for total levels of specific complement components as well as hemolytic assays to assess the functional activity of specific complement components. Total, functional hemolytic titers (CH50, AH50) as well as protein specific hemolytic titers and total antigen levels are provided.
This product is an ideal standard for functional and hemolytic assays in a laboratory setting. Because it contains EDTA, it is not suited nor intended for use in experiments relating to in vitro complement activation.
